About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Instructional Designer to join a large-scale U.S. Career & Technical Education (CTE) eLearning project. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in instructional design, storyboarding, and developing engaging digital learning experiences for K-12 learners.

This role requires close collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), content reviewers, and development teams to design learner-centric, standards-aligned eLearning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design engaging, learner-focused instructional content and storyboards.
- Apply instructional design methodologies and learning theories to create effective learning experiences.
- Develop assessments, learning activities, simulations, scenarios, and microlearning modules.
- Align content with U.S. K-12 educational standards and learning objectives.
- Create authentic workplace scenarios for Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs.
- Collaborate with SMEs, reviewers, and multimedia teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Review and refine AI-assisted content while ensuring instructional quality and accuracy.
- Ensure accessibility best practices are incorporated into learning solutions.
- Maintain consistency, quality, and instructional standards across multiple deliverables.

Required Skills

- 6–10+ years of Instructional Design experience.




- Strong storyboarding expertise.
- Experience designing eLearning for the U.S. K-12 education system.
- Experience in Career & Technical Education (CTE) or vocational learning.
- Strong understanding of instructional design models such as ADDIE, 5E, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
- Experience developing learner assessments and interactive learning experiences.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced remote workplace.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, Vyond, or Camtasia.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted content authoring tools.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience working with U.S. educational standards such as TEKS and industry-recognized certification frameworks.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree or above. Degrees in Instructional Design, Education, Curriculum Development, Education Technology, or related fields are preferred.
