Location: Khopoli, Maharashtra

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

Experience: 5–8 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy, or Industrial Engineering

Industry Preference: Steel / Wire Manufacturing / Engineering / Automotive Components

As a fast-growing organization, we are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead shop floor operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain quality standards, and drive operational excellence.

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising day-to-day production activities, managing manpower, ensuring efficient machine utilization, maintaining product quality, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and resources efficiently.
- Ensure smooth operation of wire drawing, annealing, and related production processes.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance department to minimize machine downtime.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, process parameters, and customer specifications.




- Monitor production efficiency, rejection, scrap, and material consumption.
- Prepare daily production reports, shift reports, and production MIS.
- Ensure proper utilization of raw materials and minimize process losses.
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Dispatch departments for uninterrupted production.
- Train, guide, and monitor operators and helpers to improve productivity and discipline.
- Implement and monitor TPM, 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, RCA, and CAPA initiatives.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, PPE usage, and company SOPs.
- Participate in productivity improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization projects.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of production planning and shop floor management.
- Hands-on experience in wire drawing and steel wire manufacturing processes.
- Good understanding of production KPIs, quality systems, and process control.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM,



Kaizen, 5S, RCA, and CAPA.
- Robust leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze production data and improve operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy, or Industrial Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in production supervision within steel, wire, engineering, or automotive manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on experience in managing wire drawing operations and shop floor teams.
- Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and equipment utilization.
- Ability to lead production teams, handle shift operations, and ensure timely achievement of production targets.
- Self-driven, disciplined, and result-oriented professional with strong leadership capabilities.
