Job Title: Steward

Location: Golden Castle Restaurant
Department: Food & Beverage Service
Reporting To: Restaurant Manager / Supervisor

Job Summary

Golden Castle Restaurant is looking for courteous, energetic, and service-oriented Stewards to join our Food & Beverage team. The Steward will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking food and beverage orders, serving guests efficiently, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and explain food and beverage items to customers
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
- Ensure guest satisfaction by attending to customer needs and requests
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations
- Follow hygiene, safety, and restaurant service standards at all times
- Assist in table setup, clearing, and resetting for the next service
- Handle guest feedback politely and report issues to the supervisor




- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for smooth operations

Requirements & Qualifications

- Minimum education: High school or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Steward/Waiter in a restaurant or hotel is preferred
- Good communication skills in English and Malayalam (additional languages are a plus)
- Pleasant personality with a customer-friendly attitude
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
