About Us:
Bajrang Automotive LLP is an authorized Tata Motors commercial vehicle dealership based in Nagaon, Assam. We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our service team and support the repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues in commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, and light commercial vehicles). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with engines, transmissions, brake systems, suspension, and other mechanical components used in Tata Motors CVs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in engines, transmissions, clutches, and drivetrains
- Inspect and service brake systems, suspension, steering, and axle assemblies
- Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, filter replacements, greasing, general servicing)
- Carry out major and minor repairs as per manufacturer guidelines
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults accurately
- Test-drive vehicles to confirm repairs and identify further issues
- Maintain accurate service records and job cards for each vehicle
- Work closely with the service advisor and other technicians to ensure timely vehicle turnaround




- Follow dealership safety protocols and quality standards
- Assist with warranty-related documentation for repairs, if required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- ITI certification in Motor Vehicle Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic trade (preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a vehicle mechanic, preferably with commercial vehicles (trucks/buses)
- Strong knowledge of engine systems, transmissions, and brake/suspension mechanisms
- Familiarity with Tata Motors CV mechanical systems is an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical diagrams
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to work in a workshop environment, including lifting heavy parts

Preferred:

- Prior experience at an authorized commercial vehicle dealership or service center
