Job Title: Plant Operator
Department: Production
Location: Turbhe Navi Mumbai Manufacturing Plant
Reports To: Production Officer / Production Chemist / Shift In-Charge

Job Summary

The Plant Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment and production processes in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety guidelines. The role supports smooth production operations while ensuring product quality and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate reactors, centrifuges, dryers, blenders, filters, and other production equipment as per SOPs.
- Charge raw materials as instructed in the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).
- Monitor and record process parameters such as temperature, pressure, pH, and reaction time.
- Perform equipment cleaning and line clearance before and after batch processing.
- Maintain equipment logbooks and production records accurately.
- Report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or safety hazards to the Shift In-Charge.
- Follow GMP, EHS, and PPE requirements at all times.
- Assist in material handling, transfer, dispensing, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for sampling and in-process activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the production area (5S).
- Participate in training, audits, and continuous improvement activities.





Qualification

- ITI (Chemical Plant Operator/Fitter/Electrician) – Preferred
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering – Preferred
- HSC/12th Pass with relevant manufacturing experience may also be considered.

Experience

- 0–3 years in API, pharmaceutical, chemical, or process manufacturing.
- Freshers are welcome for trainee positions.

Pay: ₹220,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per year
