Job Description

Planning Labs is hiring a creative and technically skilled 3D Designer to create designs for events, exhibitions, brand activations, corporate setups, stages, and experiential marketing projects.

The candidate should be able to understand client briefs, develop visually impressive concepts, and create practical designs that can be executed by the production team.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D designs for exhibition stalls, event stages, backdrops, kiosks, brand activations, product displays, and experiential installations.
- Convert client briefs and brand guidelines into creative design concepts.
- Prepare high-quality 3D renders and presentation-ready views.
- Develop space layouts based on venue dimensions and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with the production and execution teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Suggest suitable materials, finishes, lighting, branding elements, and fabrication methods.
- Make design revisions based on internal and client feedback.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver designs within deadlines.
- Prepare basic working drawings and dimensions for production when required.

Required Skills





- Proficiency in 3ds Max, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar 3D design software.
- Knowledge of rendering software such as V-Ray, Corona Renderer, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of space planning, lighting, branding, materials, and visual presentation.
- Basic knowledge of event production and exhibition stall fabrication.
- Ability to create both creative and execution-friendly designs.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under tight timelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 1–3 years of experience in event design, exhibition stall design, experiential marketing, retail design, or a related industry.
- Candidates with experience designing exhibition stalls and corporate events will be preferred.
- A solid portfolio of relevant 3D design work is mandatory.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
