Meptagon is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control Design Engineer for

Coimbatore location with positive attitude & cheerful outlook who is highly motivated to join our team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Execute Instrumentation & Control (I&C;) design activities for multi-discipline EPC projects from basic to detailed engineering.

 Sound knowledge of Instrument & Control Systems design activities & deliverables.

 Hands-on experience in Basic & Detail Engineering / EPC project executions.

 Sound knowledge in understanding Instrument & Electrical Specification / Job descriptions.

 Prepare I&C; design deliverables including:

- Instrument Index, I/O Lists, JB & Panel layouts

- Wiring & loop diagrams

- Interconnection drawings, Network Architecture diagrams.

- Cable schedules, cable tray sizing, cable routing & conduit layouts

- Hook-up & installation drawings

- SLDs, Control Panel & MCC Panel wiring drawings

- BOMs and Bulk MTOs

- I&C; philosophies and concepts

 Perform sizing & specification of field instruments & control valves.

 Design PLC-based control cabinets, junction boxes, hazardous area wiring, cable trays & control cable systems.

 Review contract specifications, prepare technical queries & ensure compliance with project requirements.

 Participate in P&ID; reviews,



3D model reviews & interdisciplinary design reviews.

 Knowledge of International Codes Standards like ISA, IEEE, IEC, NEC, ISO, DIN, IS.

 Deliver engineering outputs within project schedules while coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary & cross-functional teams.

Capabilities & Experience:

 B.E. - Instrumentation (or) Electrical Engineering with min. 5 years of experience in I&C; design for EPC/process industry projects.

 Hands-on experience in:

- PLC control cabinet design

- Detailed field engineering, junction box design, cable tray design, cable routing, and control cable specification

- Hazardous area wiring design

- Preparation of hook-up drawings

- Specification & selection of process instrumentation and control valves

 Strong understanding of Instrumentation and Electrical specifications, engineering standards & project deliverables.

 Proficient in AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software) & Microsoft Excel.

 Experience in 3D model reviews is an added advantage.

 Solid analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in multidisciplinary & multicultural environments.

 Proficient in written & verbal communication.

Pay: ₹550,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
