Duration of the Position

3 years. The position is for three year and purely temporary in nature.

Fellowship

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-1 (@ Rs. 37,000 pm +20% HRA for the 1st & 2nd year and @ 42,000 pm +20% HRA for the 3rd year).

Qualification





Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in Biological Sciences including Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Life Sciences and must qualify in a national-level test like CSIR-UGC NET or GATE. Candidates with experience in algal cultivation and metabolites characterisation is recommended.

Age Limit

Must not be over 30 years as on 1 July 2026. Relaxation in age, educational qualifications or experience may be considered in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates.
