Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store In-Charge to manage material stores at our construction project sites. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction materials, inventory management, stock control, and coordination with project teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site store.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials as per purchase orders.
- Issue materials to site teams based on approved material requisition notes.
- Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain records of inward, outward, returns, and scrap materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.




- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and purchase departments regarding material requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and security within the store area.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory procedures.

Requirements

- 4–10 years of experience as a Store In-Charge, preferably in the construction industry.
- Positive knowledge of construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, electrical, plumbing, and finishing materials.
- Experience in inventory control, stock management, and material documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently at project sites.

Preferred Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Experience in civil construction projects will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹17,500.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
