Rocklight is a leading brand in mobile accessories and consumer electronics, committed to delivering innovative, reliable, and high-quality products. We are looking for a passionate R&D; Executive to strengthen our Mobile Accessories division.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and develop new mobile charging cables, fast chargers, adapters, and related accessories.
- Analyze market trends, competitor products, and emerging charging technologies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and OEM manufacturers for new product development.
- Evaluate product samples and prepare comparison reports.
- Conduct product testing for charging speed, safety, durability, compatibility, and performance.
- Work closely with the QC team to resolve product quality issues.
- Prepare Product Specifications (PS), BOM, technical documents, and testing reports.
- Ensure products comply with BIS, CE, RoHS, and other applicable standards.
- Support sourcing of new components and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
- Coordinate with the Marketing and Sales teams for new product launches and technical support.
- Visit vendors or manufacturing facilities whenever required.




- Maintain complete documentation of R&D; activities and project status.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of mobile charging technologies.
- Knowledge of USB-A, USB-C, Lightning, PD (Power Delivery), QC (Quick Charge), GaN Chargers, and fast-charging protocols.
- Understanding of charging cable construction, connectors, ICs, PCB basics, and electronic components.
- Ability to evaluate product quality and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in R&D; or Product Development for mobile accessories, chargers, or consumer electronics.
- Experience working with OEM/ODM manufacturers will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in mobile chargers, charging cables, power adapters, or consumer electronics.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple product development projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel for vendor meetings and factory visits

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
