Job Summary

Nu Bricks Private Limited is looking for an experienced Mining Foreman to supervise daily quarry operations and ensure safe, efficient, and productive mining activities. The successful candidate will oversee manpower, machinery, and production while ensuring compliance with mining regulations and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily quarry and mining operations.
- Allocate work to operators, drivers, and labourers.
- Monitor drilling, excavation, loading, hauling, and crusher feeding activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce the use of PPE.
- Inspect the work area for unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain discipline and coordinate shift activities.
- Record daily production, equipment utilization, and manpower attendance.
- Coordinate with the Mines Manager and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor the performance of excavators, loaders, dumpers, compressors, and other mining equipment.
- Report equipment breakdowns and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental Clearance (EC), Consent to Operate (CTO), and statutory mining requirements.
- Assist during inspections by government authorities.




- Maintain housekeeping and environmental standards in the quarry.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Mining Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Mining Foreman Certificate of Competency (preferred or mandatory as applicable).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quarry or mining operations.
- Experience in rough stone, gravel, or crusher/quarry operations is preferred.

Skills Required

- Robust supervisory and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of quarry production processes.
- Understanding of mining safety regulations and statutory compliance.
- Ability to manage manpower and coordinate daily operations.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
