Job Title : Area Sales Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

- Identify market opportunities and generate business for material testing services through customer acquisition and relationship management.

- Meet prospective clients to understand testing requirements for materials such as rubber, polymers, metals, alloys, paints, pigments, petroleum products, and related samples.

- Develop and maintain solid customer relationships throughout the testing lifecycle, from enquiry to sample collection, testing coordination, report delivery, and invoicing.

- Coordinate with laboratory teams to ensure timely execution of testing services and customer satisfaction.

- Achieve business development, sales, and revenue targets through strategic customer engagement.

- Ensure timely collection of payments and manage customer accounts within agreed credit terms.

- Prepare customer presentations, marketing materials, and capability brochures to promote laboratory services.

- Conduct regular customer visits, identify new business opportunities, and expand the client base.

- Provide weekly sales reports, customer visit updates,



and business performance reports to management.

- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver quality service and support business growth.

Requisites
- Bachelor//'s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

- Strong knowledge of material testing services and laboratory business development.

- Familiarity with analytical instruments such as DSC, TGA, BET, SEM, PSD, or similar testing equipment is preferred.

- Experience in B2B sales, customer relationship management, and business development.

- Ability to understand customer testing requirements and recommend suitable laboratory solutions.

- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to payment collection.

- Willingness to travel extensively for customer meetings and business development.

- Proficiency in preparing business reports, presentations, and sales updates.

- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused and team-oriented approach.
