Key Responsibilities

​1. Operations & Production Management

​Production Planning: Translate sales and engineering orders into effective daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

​Workflow Optimization: Oversee CNC machining, heavy fabrication, welding, assembly, and pressure testing departments to ensure seamless product flow.

​Resource Allocation: Manage labor deployment, machine utilization, and raw material availability to minimize downtime and bottlenecks.

​Capacity Planning: Identify capacity constraints and implement strategies to scale production based on market demands.

​2. Quality Assurance & API Compliance

​Standards Adherence: Ensure all manufacturing processes strictly comply with industry standards, specifically API Spec 6A, 16A, 16C, 7-1, and ASME Section IX.

​Traceability: Maintain flawless material traceability, heat-treatment logs, and non-destructive testing (NDT) records for every component.

​Audit Readiness: Lead the shop floor team during internal and external quality audits (e.g., ISO 9001, API renewals).

​3. HSE (Health, Safety, & Environment) Leadership

​Zero-Incident Culture: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, recognizing the high-risk nature of heavy lifting, high-pressure testing, and machining.

​Hazard Control: Ensure regular safety drills, proper PPE usage, and routine risk assessments of all manufacturing equipment.

​4. Cost Control & Continuous Improvement

​Lean Manufacturing:



Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies to eliminate waste, improve cycle times, and optimize shop floor layout.

​Budgeting: Manage the production budget, monitoring variances in direct labor costs, consumables, and maintenance expenses.

​OEE Optimization: Track and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) across critical machinery.

​5. Team Leadership & Development

​Workforce Management: Supervise and mentor production supervisors, machinists, welders, and assembly technicians.

​Skill Mapping: Identify skill gaps and arrange technical training (e.g., advanced welding certifications, CNC programming).

​Required Qualifications

​Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering. A master’s degree or MBA in Operations is a plus.

​Key Competencies & Skills

​Leadership: Ability to command respect on the shop floor while effectively collaborating with the executive board.

​Problem Solving: Quick, data-driven decision-making capabilities, especially when handling machinery breakdowns or material non-conformances.

​ERP Proficiency: Experience working with manufacturing modules in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
