Job Description

- Translate and edit a variety of Meta content, including user interface and long-form text.
- Perform testing of the translated products to identify linguistic and functional issues.
- Perform terminology and style guide updates.
- Provide linguistic and cultural expertise in various localization projects.
- Provide linguistic support and guidance to vendor translation teams.

Skills

- 100% native fluency in Bengali/Urdu respectively and near-native fluency in English.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in translation from English to Bengali/Urdu & vice versa .
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Familiarity with relevant culture and trends.

Qualifications

- Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics,



Communications or similar is desirable.
- Experience in the social media and mobile space is a plus.
- Familiarity with computer aided translation tools is desirable.
- Career gap of up to 1 year may be considered.
- Recent freelancing experience may also be taken into consideration.
