We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our hospital team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, handling billing and payments, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily financial records and accounting entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
- Monitor hospital revenue, patient billing, and insurance-related transactions.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient-related information.
- Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement activities.
- Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 – 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
