Post: Chemist (Quality Control)

Job Location: Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh

Job type: Contractual-Long Term Contract (On Chemprocess Solutions payroll deployed at client site)

Job Summary

We are hiring QC Chemists to perform chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, utilities and finished products, ensuring product quality and timely support to production and dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze raw materials, in-process samples, utilities and finished products as per SOPs.
- Perform dispatch clearance testing and release finished products.
- Operate analytical instruments including GC, ICP-OES, TOC Analyzer, HACH, Flame Photometer, pH & Conductivity Meters.
- Prepare and standardize reagents and standard solutions.
- Record test results accurately and maintain laboratory documentation.
- Report abnormal/OOS results and support investigations.
- Assist in calibration, routine maintenance and verification of laboratory instruments.
- Follow GLP, ISO/IMS, SOPs and EHS requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, QA and Dispatch for timely sample analysis.

Requirements

- M.Sc. Chemistry




- 5 years’ plus experience in a Chemical, Chlor-Alkali, Petrochemical or Specialty Chemical QC Laboratory.
- Hands-on experience with analytical instruments and wet chemistry.
- Knowledge of GLP, ISO/IMS documentation and laboratory safety.
- Good analytical, documentation and communication skills.
- Willing to work in rotational shifts.

Preferred: Experience in Chlor-Alkali, Chloromethane or allied chemical manufacturing industries.
