- *Qualification*: GNM / B.Sc Nursing with valid State Nursing Council registration

- *Experience*: Minimum 1-3 years in Labour Room / O. T/ Maternity Ward / NICU preferred

- *Skills*: Antenatal, intranatal & postnatal care, newborn care, breastfeeding support, IV cannulation, CTG monitoring, partograph charting

- *Knowledge*: Infection control protocols, emergency obstetric care, BLS/NRP certification preferred

*2. Key Duties to Add*

- Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate during labour and delivery

- Assist obstetricians in normal deliveries, LSCS, and emergency procedures

- Provide immediate newborn care including APGAR scoring, warmth, and initiation of breastfeeding within 1 hour





- Administer medications and IV fluids as per doctor’s orders with accurate documentation

- Educate mothers on postnatal care, newborn hygiene, immunization schedule, and family planning

- Maintain strict asepsis in labour room and operation theatre

- Handle patient admission, discharge, and case sheet documentation per hospital policy

- Compassionate approach with ability to handle patients in pain/distress

- Solid communication with mothers, families, and multidisciplinary team

- Willingness for rotational shifts including nights, weekends, and on-call
