Job Title: Shift Manager

Experience Required

-Minimum 1 year of experience in the food & beverage industry (QSR, restaurant, café, or fast-food outlet).

- Experience in team handling and shift operations is preferred. Job Summary The Shift Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the outlet during the assigned shift.

The role includes supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, handling cash, and achieving smooth operations while meeting Burger Singh standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shift Operations

- Open and close the outlet as per company SOPs.

- Ensure smooth functioning of the outlet throughout the shift.

- Maintain adequate stock of food items, packaging, and consumables.

- Coordinate with kitchen and front counter staff.

2. Team Management

- Allocate duties to team members.

- Supervise and motivate staff during the shift.

- Train recent employees on SOPs, hygiene, and customer service.

- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and discipline.

3. Customer Service

- Ensure every customer receives prompt and courteous service.

- Resolve customer complaints professionally.

- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.

4. Food Quality & Hygiene

- Ensure food is prepared according to Burger Singh standards.

- Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation.

- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and storage.

- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

5. Inventory Management





- Monitor daily inventory.

- Minimize food wastage.

- Receive stock deliveries and verify quantities. - Report shortages to the outlet manager.

6. Cash Handling

- Handle billing and POS operations.

- Verify cash collection and prepare end-of-shift reports.

- Ensure accurate cash reconciliation.

7. Sales & Performance

- Help achieve daily sales targets.

- Promote combo meals and add-on items.

- Monitor order preparation and delivery times.

8. Reporting

- Submit daily sales, inventory, and operational reports.

- Immediately report equipment issues or operational concerns to the Outlet Manager.

- Time management Working Hours - Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

- Meet sales and operational targets.

- Maintain staff discipline and productivity.

Eligibility

- Minimum qualification: 12th Pass (Graduate preferred).

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant, café, QSR, or fast-food outlet.

- Positive attitude, honesty, and willingness to lead a team.

Salary: As per experience and interview performance.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
