Job Description:

- Study product drawings & propose manufacturing process sequence
- Prepare investment & process costing for new projects/ revisions
- Conduct DFM with R&D; and provide inputs to maintain/ improve manufacturing standards
- Prepare and verify PFD, PFMEA along with CFT
- Prepare and monitor NPD development schedule for JFG & Equipment along with Cluster ME Head
- Sign- off machine specifications along with Maintenance, Production & QA before sharing with suppliers
- Sign- off test bench specifications along with R&D; & Maintenance before sharing with suppliers 8. Validate Civil and MEP requirements for NPD projects. Coordinate with Civil team for capex requirement
- Raise Capex in system for NPD projects, follow-up for approvals.
- Review machine quotations and concepts to provide Technical Recommendation for sourcing.
- Sign-off DAP along with Maintenance, production & supplier
- Conduct FAT at supplier end and sign off with CFT
- Coordinate installation of machines on shop floor along with Maintenance
- Coordinate with CFT for production of DVP samples for NPD




- Sign off Process validation sheets and prepare Cp / Cpk report for Critical processes
- Validate Control plan/IPO & release to Production
- Lead RAR and customer PPAP audits for NPD launch
- Coordinate training for Production and Maintenance teams on recent machines
- Monitor NPD programs performance for Launch+ 90 days
- Release Productivity Norms & handover documents to production

Capacity and Capex Planning:

- Coordinate with cluster ME heads for capacity planning of new programs and ramp up
- Submit annual Capex budget as per sales plan for NPD and ramp-up
- Identify large scale automation/ process improvement projects in coordination with COCs

Process Improvement/ Standardization:

- Review and approve Kaizens/ PCRNs received from plants and revise model line standards accordingly
- Review actions on Customer complaints, IHR, EFR & Warranty rejection and revise model line standards accordingly
- Define and maintain model line specifications for assigned products to minimize process cost
