- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery).
- Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MD/MS/DGO or equivalent).
- Valid medical registration with the relevant Medical Council.
Roles and Responsibilities – Gynaecology Registrar
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic gynaecological conditions.
- Provide outpatient, inpatient, and emergency gynaecology care.
- Perform and assist with gynaecological procedures and surgery appropriate to level of training.
- Develop treatment plans and provide pre- and post-operative care.
- Work collaboratively with consultants and the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
- Counsel patients, obtain informed consent, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Participate in on-call duties, clinical audits, teaching, and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain qualified standards, patient confidentiality and evidence-based clinical practice.
