Job Summary

We are hiring for the post of Clinical Psychologist to provide professional psychological services including assessment, counselling, psychotherapy, and mental health support for students and staff across the institution. The psychologist will support individuals dealing with emotional, behavioural, academic, and psychological challenges, while promoting mental well-being through counselling sessions, awareness programs, and crisis interventions.

Key Responsibilities

● Conduct psychological assessments using standardized psychological tools and tests.

● Diagnose emotional, behavioural, and psychological concerns based on established clinical frameworks.

● Provide individual, group, and family counselling sessions to students and staff.

● Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy such as CBT, supportive therapy, and behavioural interventions.

● Support students dealing with academic stress and performance anxiety, emotional or behavioural challenges, social anxiety and confidence issues, personal or family-related concerns, and adjustment issues within the academic environment.

● Identify and assess learning difficulties, developmental issues,



or behavioural disorders when required.

● Conduct mental healthawareness programs, workshops, and preventive initiatives for students and staff.

● Collaborate with faculty members, parents, and administrators to support student well-being.

● Provide crisis intervention and suicide risk assessment when required.

● Maintain confidential records of counselling sessions, case notes, and psychological reports.

● Participate in training, research activities, and institutional mental health initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

● 20+ years of experience in clinical psychology, counselling, or institutional mental health services.

● Valid RCI Registration is mandatory.

● Solid skills in psychological assessment, counselling, and therapy techniques.

● Ability to handle emotional distress, academic stress, anxiety, and behavioural concerns with empathy and professionalism.

● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.

● Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
