Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Preferred)
Salary - 15,000 - 30,000

Experience Required

2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment. Experience in handling manpower and shift operations. Knowledge of production planning and shop-floor management. Experience in machine operation monitoring and coordination with maintenance teams. Freshers may also apply if suitable

Job Purpose

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily production activities, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining product quality, and achieving production targets within defined timelines. The role involves manpower handling, coordination with cross-functional departments, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Job Profile / Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production operations and manpower allocation
- Ensure achievement of production targets as per schedule
- Monitor machine operations and coordinate with the maintenance team
- Maintain product quality and minimize wastage
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and company policies
- Maintain production reports, attendance, and shift records
- Coordinate with Quality,



Stores, Maintenance, and HR departments
- Train workers and improve shop-floor productivity
- Handle production-related issues and implement corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in production processes
- Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline on the shop floor

Key Skills Required

- Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes
- Strong leadership and manpower handling skills
- Production planning and coordination abilities
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, reporting)
- Knowledge of safety standards and quality control
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under production pressure and shift operations
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
