We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager – Steel Products with a strong background in the steel industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of structural steel and flat steel products, including HR coils, slabs, and plates, and will be responsible for driving market penetration, lead generation, and brand positioning for steel solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for steel products, including structural steel, HR coils, slabs, and plates
- Drive lead generation across infrastructure companies, fabricators, EPC contractors, OEMs, and institutional clients
- Identify and develop new market segments in construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, and heavy engineering sectors
- Work closely with sales and production teams to support bid management, pricing strategies, and proposal development
- Conduct market research on pricing trends, competitor offerings, and demand-supply dynamics in the steel sector
- Manage client presentations, product discussions, and technical engagements related to steel applications
- Support branding, promotional campaigns, exhibitions, and participation in industry events and trade shows
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as contractors, consultants, fabricators, and project developers
- Monitor marketing performance metrics and prepare periodic reports for management review
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical / Metallurgy / Civil preferred) or equivalent technical qualification
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in steel products marketing or business development
- Strong knowledge of structural steel, HR coils, slabs, plates, and their applications across industries
- Understanding of steel manufacturing processes, supply chain, and project-based sales cycles
- Proven track record in lead generation and market development
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, plant visits, and project discussions
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic technical documentation
