Position: Cloud Architect (Azure)

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, migration strategies, security, and operational excellence, enabling successful cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement Azure-based cloud architectures aligned with the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Landing Zone principles.
- Architect and manage Azure networking solutions, including Virtual Networks (VNet), ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints, and hybrid connectivity.
- Design and govern cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, and API Management.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Bicep.
- Establish and support DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud governance frameworks.
- Define and implement cloud security, compliance, encryption, identity, and key management strategies using Azure-native services.
- Lead migration and modernization initiatives for on-premises and Oracle-based workloads to Azure.
- Design and validate High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity solutions.
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Conduct architecture assessments, cost optimization reviews, and Azure Well-Architected Framework evaluations.





Required Skills & Experience:

- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and enterprise cloud transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, Landing Zones, Entra ID (Azure AD), API Management, AKS, App Services, and Azure Functions.
- Expertise in Azure networking, hybrid cloud connectivity, and security architecture.
- Experience with Terraform or Bicep for Infrastructure as Code and automation.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud governance practices.
- Experience designing and implementing encryption, key management, identity, and access control solutions.
- Proven experience in cloud migration, modernization, and business continuity planning.
- Expertise in monitoring, logging, and security operations using Azure-native tools.
- Robust understanding of cloud cost management, FinOps practices, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certification.
- Experience supporting environments subject to UAE Central Bank regulations, compliance requirements, and data residency obligations.
- Experience migrating and optimizing Oracle workloads on Azure.
- Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong stakeholder management and solution leadership capabilities.
