About the Role

ICEM Engineering Co. (India) Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and technically sound Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of all plant machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all plant machinery.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to ensure maximum machine availability.
- Monitor the performance and health of all machines and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure smooth operation of fabrication and heavy engineering machinery with minimum downtime.
- Maintain and service machines such as:
- Welding Machines (MIG, TIG, SAW)
- Plate Rolling Machines
- Hydraulic Presses
- Shearing & Bending Machines
- Drilling & Cutting Machines
- Air Compressors
- EOT Cranes
- Pumps, Gearboxes, Motors & Bearings
- Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective actions promptly.
- Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality departments to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing activities.
- Monitor machine lubrication, alignment,



and calibration activities.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and coordinate with vendors for procurement and servicing.
- Follow all safety standards and maintenance procedures within the plant.
- Support installation, commissioning, and relocation of new machinery whenever required.
- Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of industrial machine maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to diagnose machine failures and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of maintenance planning and documentation.
- Basic understanding of electrical components will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility Criteria

- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
- Experience: 1–2 Years in Maintenance within a Manufacturing, Fabrication, Heavy Engineering, Pressure Vessel, or Industrial Plant.
- Location: Candidate must be residing in Wada or willing to relocate to Wada.
- Fresh ideas with a solid learning attitude and practical troubleshooting skills will be preferred.
