- Job Description

:

SECON is seeking a Full Stack GIS Developer to join our Geospatial software Team.



Our Geospatial software team is developing bespoke solutions that combine the power of Geospatial data such as satellite / Drone Imagery and Lidar with infrastructure planning and design for Oil & Gas pipelines, Highways, Irrigation and Water Resource sectors. You will be based in Bangalore (India) working along with a team that includes Geospatial and domain experts.

- Technical Abilities

:

- Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies Stack WISA (Windows, IIS, SQL Server, ASP.NET/MVC)
- GIS Development experience with Esri essential and other technologies desirable.
- High competency in building front-end user interfaces (web pages), business logic and writing code that interacts with the databases
- Understanding of GIS data, data models and GIS database management.
- Insight of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and working
- Web development, API integration and UIX.
- Mobile GIS application development is desirable.
- Artificial Intelligence (for automated feature extraction) and Machine Learning experience desirable.
- Programming ability with knowledge of spatial and data management tools having Analytical, Debugging & Problem-Solving skills

- Skills & Experience

:

- Microsoft .Net, JavaScript, Ajax, Android, ESRI ArcObjects
- GIS based JavaScript libraries like ArcGIS JavaScript API, Open Layers, Leaflet
- Web technologies like CSS, JQuery, Bootstrap and HTML
- Spatial databases Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Spatial PostGreSQL/PostGIS

- Experience

- 2+ years of GIS application development experience

- Education

- B. Tech / BE in CSE / MCA
