Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Design & Estimation Engineer with expertise in HVAC systems to prepare technical designs, drawings, and accurate cost estimates for HVAC projects. The candidate will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure designs are code-compliant, feasible, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Duties:

- Prepare HVAC system designs including ducting layouts, piping layouts, AHU/FCU placement, and equipment selection using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar software
- Perform heat load calculations, air flow calculations, and duct/pipe sizing using tools like HAP, e20, or Excel-based methods
- Select appropriate HVAC equipment (chillers, AHUs, VRF/VRV systems, cooling towers, exhaust fans, ductable/split units, etc.) based on project requirements
- Prepare technical drawings (GA drawings, ducting/piping layouts, sections, schematics)
- Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISHRAE, and other relevant codes/standards
- Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and equipment schedules
- Review consultant/tender drawings and client RFQs to develop technical designs
- Coordinate with site/execution teams for design feasibility and troubleshooting
- Revise drawings based on site conditions, client feedback, or approval comments
- Maintain design documentation, drawing registers,



and revision control

Estimation Duties:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects based on BOQs, drawings, and specifications
- Take-off quantities for ducting, piping, insulation, AHUs, chillers, VRF/VRV units, diffusers/grilles, and other HVAC components
- Obtain and compare vendor/supplier quotations for equipment and materials
- Prepare comparative costing, rate analysis, and value engineering options
- Estimate labor, installation, and project execution costs
- Support the sales/tendering team in preparing commercial proposals and technical bid documents
- Maintain historical costing data and vendor rate database for future reference

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in HVAC design and estimation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC design/simulation software (HAP, e20, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of heat load calculations, ducting/piping design, and equipment selection
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and ISHRAE standards
- Good understanding of BOQ preparation, costing, and vendor management
- Proficiency in MS Excel for estimation sheets and cost analysis
- Strong analytical, numerical, and coordination skills
- Good communication skills (English, Hindi, Marathi preferred)

Salary: As per industry standards / based on experience

Working Hours: [e.g., 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday]

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
