An HR Manager in a two-wheeler showroom balances talent acquisition, retail-specific compliance, and employee motivation. They manage hiring for sales and service teams, drive performance metrics (like sales targets and customer satisfaction), oversee payroll and incentives, and ensure a positive customer-facing work culture

A well-organized breakdown of their responsibilities includes:

1. Talent Acquisition & Staffing

· Role-Specific Hiring: Sourcing candidates for specific roles such as Sales Executives, Service Advisors, Mechanics, and Showroom Managers.

· Peak Season Preparation: Forecasting hiring needs and scaling up the team ahead of festive seasons or new model launches.

· Onboarding: Conducting orientations, background verifications, and brand training to get current hires showroom-ready quickly

2. Performance Management & Compensation

· Target-Driven Appraisals: Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) based on vehicle sales, customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores, and service turnaround times.





· Incentive Structuring: Designing and managing commission structures, and rewards to keep the sales and service teams highly motivated.

· Payroll & Attendance: Processing monthly payroll, managing shift schedules, and handling overtime—especially common in busy retail environments

3. Employee Relations & Training

· Customer Service Training: Collaborating with brand trainers to ensure floor staff understand the features, financing options, and technical specifications of the vehicles.

· Conflict Resolution: Addressing grievances between staff members or handling escalated customer complaints involving employee misconduct.

· Culture Building: Fostering a healthy, energetic, and professional showroom environment that translates to a better customer buying experience
