Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Optometrist with strong clinical knowledge, excellent refraction skills, and the ability to drive optical sales. The ideal candidate should be confident in patient handling, capable of recommending appropriate eyewear, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and accurate refraction.
- Diagnose common vision problems and recommend suitable corrective solutions.
- Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses based on their visual needs and preferences.
- Explain lens options, coatings, and eyewear products effectively.
- Achieve optical sales targets through ethical product recommendations.
- Ensure accurate dispensing and fitting of spectacles.
- Maintain patient records and ensure high standards of customer care.
- Coordinate with the store team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Optometry.
- 1-4 years of experience in clinical optometry and optical retail.
- Strong refraction and dispensing skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to build customer trust.
- Smart, presentable, and customer-friendly personality.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

- Experience working in an optical retail store.
- Comfortable achieving sales targets.
