Job Title: Welder

Department: Production / Fabrication

Reports To: Production Supervisor / Factory Manager

Job Summary

The Welder is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components by reading technical drawings and performing high-quality welding operations. The role requires adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Perform welding using MIG, TIG, ARC, or other welding processes as required.
- Cut, fit, align, and join metal parts according to specifications.
- Inspect welded joints to ensure quality and structural integrity.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
- Repair defective welds and perform rework when necessary.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete assigned tasks on time.




- Report equipment malfunctions or material shortages to the supervisor.

Qualifications

- ITI or equivalent qualification in Welding/Fabrication.
- Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Freshers are also welcome.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Knowledge of different welding techniques and metal materials.
- Valuable physical stamina and manual dexterity.

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
