Job Description

- Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in quality
- Development, implementation, and constant review of QC policy
- Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that the quality systems are designed to deliver these
- Determining, negotiating and agreeing with operations on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications
- Systems and processes are adhered to and Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs) are followed
- Ensure the establishment of quality check points during different stages of the production process , for both process and product parameters
- Investigating Customer complaints and modifying the systems and processes to reduce quality problems
- Specifying quality requirements of raw materials, and ensuring measurement and adherence for these in incoming material
- Developing and Overseeing the sample testing process
- Ensure compliance to applicable BIS/ISI standards of quality assurance
- Maintain records about the quality measures and facilitate EDP in compiling data and generate periodic quality report




- Track emission levels of harmful gases within permissible levels during the production process and escalate any serious digressions
- Ensure compliance to all safety, health and environment measures in the process
- Manage production of resin and glue, with objective to improve quality while managing costs (With respect to global RM prices)
- Ensure timely and quality market sample production and dispatch
- Conducting R&D; on process or raw material to improve quality, and giving guidance on any other production initiative
- Management of all testing equipment and providing requirement for any recent equipment in a timely manner
- Maintenance and upkeep of laboratory including market samples and in-house research samples
- Manage the team reporting into the position
- Provide feedback to team members and provide inputs for the training requirements of the team
