Position : Project Manager
Experience : 10+ years ( 5+ years real estate experience is required)

Roles and Responsibilities

The primary goal of a Project Manager is to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

- Project Planning and Definition: Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with all stakeholders. This includes creating comprehensive project plans, detailed schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Budget and Cost Management: Developing accurate cost estimates and budgets, tracking all expenses, managing cash flow, negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors, and controlling costs to avoid overruns.
- Scheduling and Time Management: Creating a master schedule with milestones and deadlines, monitoring progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Resource and Team Management: Hiring and managing internal teams, general contractors, and subcontractors. This involves delegating tasks, providing leadership, resolving conflicts, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Quality and Safety Assurance: Ensuring all work complies with design specifications, quality standards, local building codes, and safety regulations (such as OSHA standards). This also involves conducting regular site inspections.
- Communication and Reporting: Serving as the main liaison between all parties involved, providing regular progress reports, budget updates, and status reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks (e.g., material delays, safety issues, design problems)



and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Documentation and Compliance: Obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and approvals from authorities, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation including contracts, change orders, and inspection logs.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

A successful Project Manager requires a blend of technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills.

- Education: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field is typically required.
- Experience: Significant experience in construction, often several years in roles such as site engineer or assistant project manager, is necessary to gain practical, hands-on knowledge.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, structural drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant building codes.
- Familiarity with construction project management software (e.g., Primavera, Procore, MS Project, or AutoCAD).
- Soft Skills:
- Leadership and team management abilities to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage stakeholders and contracts effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to handle unexpected issues.
- Organizational and time management skills to balance multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Certifications: Skilled certifications like the Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) are highly valued.

Pay: ₹623,183.31 - ₹1,244,021.48 per year
