Job Summary

Hostelwala is looking for a responsible and dedicated Food Operations Manager to oversee food preparation, quality, hygiene, and timely dispatch from our central kitchen to all 5 hostels in Nagpur. Freshers with a strong interest in food operations and quality management are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect food quality, taste, freshness, and quantity at the central kitchen before dispatch.
- Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained in the kitchen.
- Monitor food preparation and ensure meals are prepared as per the approved menu.
- Coordinate timely dispatch of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner to all 5 hostels.
- Ensure food reaches each hostel on time and in proper condition.
- Supervise kitchen staff, helpers, and delivery personnel involved in food operations.
- Check packaging and transportation of food to prevent contamination or spoilage.




- Address food-related complaints and take corrective actions when required.
- Maintain daily records of food quality inspections, hygiene checks, and dispatch timings.

Requirements

- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Food Technology, or any related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and quality standards is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to travel between hostels if required.
