In this position, you will provide virtual breastfeeding education, guidance, and support to new and expectant mothers through secure telehealth platforms. Responsibilities

- Conduct virtual lactation consultations via telehealth.
- Assess breastfeeding challenges and develop individualized care plans.
- Educate families on breastfeeding techniques, pumping, milk storage, and infant feeding.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up to clients as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.




- Stay current with evidence-based breastfeeding and lactation practices.

Qualifications

- IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) certification required.
- Previous experience providing lactation counseling, preferably in a clinical or telehealth setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHRs).
- Ability to work independently while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a private, professional workspace.
