- Plan receipt of raw materials for which dispatch instructions from vendors have been received.
- Follow the SOP of receipt of raw materials before transferring to their respective godown.
- Update status boards without delay as and when status of storage godowns changes.
- Instruct about batch preparations of finished goods received from production and follow SOP of batch preparation properly before sticking approved / rejected label on the tank or packages.
- Instruct production about storage tanks in which fresh material is planned to be received.
- Pack finished goods with proper following of SOP of packaging before transferring them to finished goods godown.
- Dispatch finished goods on instructions of marketing by properly following SOP of dispatch.
- Calibrate weighing scales at the start of general shift or before undertaking any weighing activity if weighing scale is not used frequently.
- Undertake operational qualification of weighing balance before their due date.
- Number standard weights properly and send them for certification to authorised agencies before their due dates.
- Get weighing balances, which are used for dispatches, checked and stamped from Inspector of Legal Metrology (Weights and Measurement Inspector)
- Get master gauges for temperature, pressure, vacuum, levels, humidity, thickness tester certified from competent authorities with traceability certificate.
