- Equipment Assembly: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to correctly assemble, align, and install mechanical components.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections on plant equipment (e.g., pumps, conveyors, gearboxes) to prevent unexpected failures and extend machinery lifespan.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical faults, disassemble machinery to replace worn or defective parts, and perform precision adjustments.
- Metal Fabrication: Cut, shape, and modify metal parts using lathes, milling machines, grinders, and hand files to ensure a perfect fit.
- Testing: Perform operational tests on newly assembled or repaired equipment to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Documentation: Log maintenance activities, parts replacements, and equipment downtime in compliance with site regulations and reporting systems. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9]
