Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced DP Operations & Risk Management Executive to manage day-to-day depository operations, ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate operational risks, and maintain seamless coordination with depositories, clients, and internal teams. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of NSDL/CDSL processes, depository regulations, and risk management practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesDP Operations

- Handle end-to-end Depository Participant (DP) operations including account opening, modification, closure, and maintenance.
- Process Demat, Remat, Transmission, Pledge, Unpledge, Freeze/Unfreeze, and Off-market transactions.
- Verify client documentation and ensure compliance with KYC and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with depositories (NSDL/CDSL) for operational matters and issue resolution.
- Monitor daily transaction reports and reconcile DP records.
- Ensure timely execution of corporate actions and investor requests.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as per regulatory guidelines.

Risk Management

- Monitor operational and compliance risks related to DP activities.
- Conduct periodic checks and reconciliations to identify discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to SEBI, NSDL, CDSL, and internal compliance requirements.
- Prepare risk reports and exception reports for management review.
- Assist in internal audits, inspections, and regulatory audits.




- Implement controls and corrective actions to minimize operational risk.
- Monitor suspicious transactions and escalate concerns as per company policy.

Compliance & Reporting

- Ensure compliance with SEBI, Depository, and Exchange regulations.
- Prepare MIS reports, operational reports, and management dashboards.
- Support regulatory reporting and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with compliance, operations, and audit teams.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of NSDL/CDSL DP Operations.
- Understanding of SEBI regulations and depository guidelines.
- Experience in risk monitoring and operational controls.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and operational software.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria

- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent Commerce background.
- Mandatory NISM Certification.
- 3–6 years of experience in DP Operations and Risk Management within a Broking, Depository Participant, or Financial Services organization.
- Experience handling depository operations and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Candidates

- Prior experience with Stock Broking or Depository Participant organizations.
- Knowledge of NSE, BSE, NSDL, and CDSL operational processes.
- Familiarity with audit, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
