We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chinese Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing authentic and Indo-Chinese dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of Chinese and Indo-Chinese dishes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and food presentation.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, and mise en place before service.
- Monitor food quality and portion control to minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team during operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
- Check stock levels and inform the management about inventory requirements.
- Follow standard recipes and restaurant SOPs.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Chinese Chef.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese and Indo-Chinese cuisine.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Team player with a positive attitude and excellent time management skills.
- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts is an added advantage.
