Integration Architect- SKF Automotive Business
SKF Automotive’s Data, AI & Integrations department is seeking an SAP Integration Architect to Drive, Design, Develop, and Govern integration solutions fully integrated to SAP, Legacy and B2B service providers – in a hybrid environment. Ensure consistent design and development in close collaboration with solution development teams and deployment teams across releases and domains from a complete lifecycle of integrations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop and govern end-to-end integration solutions across SAP S/4HANA, non-SAP, legacy systems, and B2B partners.
- Implement complex mappings (XSLT/Java in PI/PO; Groovy/XSLT in CPI) and custom adapter modules.
- Architect and standardize B2B/EDI integrations using Integration Advisor and global onboarding frameworks.
- Drive modernization programs and manage coexistence architectures during transition.
- Collaborate globally with solution teams, operations, and external partners to deliver high-quality integrations.
- Coach and mentor integration teams, build a community of practice, and promote reuse of patterns and assets.
- Ensure compliance with SKF standards for security, performance, and lifecycle governance.
Skills & Experience:
- Deep Expertise in SAP PI/PO, ESR, ID, BPM, BRM, and migration strategies to CPI.
- Expertise in building CPI iFlows, adapters,
security artifacts, monitoring, and CTMS transport processes.
- Worked on hybrid Integration solutions, on-premises + cloud connectivity, and secure network design.
- Experience in stabilizing & operating complex SAP environments.
- Experience with large scale implementations in global environments including working with on- and offshore development teams.
- CPI monitoring, alerting, error handling, and performance tuning.
- CI/CD for integration artifacts, Git-enabled transport, and automated testing.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP services, Azure/AWS integration, and API-led connectivity.- Good to have
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in the IT industry
- 7+ years in SAP integration architecture and development across enterprise scale landscapes.
- 2+ years of experience in Integration Architect role.
- Hands‑on experience in SAP PI/PO (including BPM/BRM) and SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
- Proven experience migrating from PI/PO to CPI- Good to have
- Experience in enterprise environments with high standards for reliability, scalability, and compliance.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to work cross-functionally with global teams.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment, use proactive communication and collaboration with different teams and individuals to achieve results.
- A growth mindset and eagerness to explore emerging technologies and practices.
