As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing software releases, ensuring the stability and performance of systems, and utilizing various tools and platforms to customize solutions. The engineer collaborates with different teams to maintain compatibility across systems while adapting features to align with organizational goals. Continuous monitoring and adjustment of applications are essential to provide seamless user experiences and support operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.




- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to enhance system functionality and user satisfaction.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them through technical challenges.

Skilled & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong understanding of application configuration and customization within packaged or cloud-based environments.
- Experience working with APIs and low-code platforms to extend application capabilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to maintain application stability.
- Familiarity with release management processes and version control in software deployment.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our PDC2C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
