Job Overview:
We are looking for a warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher to join our early years team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about working with young children and capable of creating a safe, engaging, and joyful learning environment that supports early childhood development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, activity-based learning experiences
- Foster a caring, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Use creative teaching methods including storytelling, rhymes, games, and play-based learning
- Monitor and assess student progress and maintain records
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development
- Ensure classroom discipline through positive reinforcement techniques
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in school activities
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pre-primary/kindergarten teaching
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
- Soft-spoken, patient, and approachable personality
- Presentable and professional demeanor
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for working with young children
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), NTT, Montessori, or related field
- Knowledge of contemporary teaching methods and child-centered learning approaches
