About the Team

Nothing is moving at pace, delivering hardware to a global audience with India standing as our most significant territory. However, our People infrastructure hasn't kept up. We currently lack a senior leader to provide strategic direction, establish necessary processes, or bridge the gap between the team and leadership. This position is about creating that foundation. You will act as the essential link, implementing the structural rigor and internal systems required for an operation of this scale.

What You'll Do

- Set strategic direction for the People function in India while staying hands-on enough to fix what's actually broken
- Own the People function end to end, reporting into the VP of People and acting as the senior People voice in the region
- Lead and develop the local Talent Acquisition and People Ops team, giving them clear ownership and room to grow
- Partner directly with India leadership on org design, workforce planning, and the people decisions that come with running Nothing's largest market
- Set the standard for compliance across India operations; including statutory requirements, payroll accuracy, and POSH.
- Own vendor relationships (HR outsourcing, insurance, HRIS) and make the call on service quality, escalating to global People where needed

What We're Looking For





- Someone who can be the face of the People team - driving values alignment and building trust with employees and executives alike
- A track record of driving mission, vision, and values into how a team actually operates, not just what's on a slide
- Experience leading a People or HR function, ideally somewhere that moved fast and asked you to build as you went
- Background in hardware, consumer tech, retail, or another operationally intensive industry
- Comfortable switching between hands-on execution and strategic conversations with senior leaders in the same day
- Experience leading teams through change, from restructures to new ways of working, without losing trust along the way
- Solid grounding in Indian employment law, statutory compliance, and payroll practices
- A track record of managing and growing a small team
- Confident working across geographies and functions, including with a global People team based outside India

How We Work

- Location: Gurgaon
- Working Pattern: Full-time, in-office, five days a week. We can work around personal needs where it makes sense, but being together is how we do our best work.
