OrbitNexa is offering an exciting 6-month Frontend Developer Internship program for 2025 pass outs who are passionate about building modern, scalable web applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge technologies including Next.js 14+, TypeScript, shadcn/ui, and modern React patterns. You'll work alongside experienced developers, contribute to real-world projects, and develop the skills needed to launch your career in frontend development.
In This Role, You Will
- Learn and contribute to Next.js 14+ (TypeScript) web application development
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS
- Assist in implementing data-heavy interfaces (tables, forms, dashboards)
- Learn to integrate with GraphQL (AppSync) and REST APIs (API Gateway)
- Gain hands-on experience with state management using Zustand and React Query/TanStack Query
- Learn to build forms using React Hook Form with Zod validation
- Participate in performance optimization tasks (code splitting, lazy loading, bundle optimization)
- Learn about Next.js Server Components (RSC) and up-to-date React patterns
- Assist in ensuring WCAG 2.1 compliance and accessibility best practices
- Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code following React and Next.js best practices
- Learn to write unit tests using Jest and React Testing Library
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions to learn best practices
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to understand design-to-code workflows
- Work with backend developers to understand API integration
- Attend training sessions and workshops on frontend technologies
- Document your learnings and contribute to team knowledge base
- Complete assigned projects and tasks under mentorship
To Be Successful You Will
- Currently pursuing or recently completed (2025 pass out) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong foundation in JavaScript and basic understanding of React
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web development fundamentals
- Familiarity with version control (Git) - basic knowledge is sufficient
- Eagerness to learn Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks
- Interest in modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui)
- Basic understanding of responsive design principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a team and learn from feedback
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
- Self-motivated with a passion for frontend development
- Portfolio or GitHub profile with personal projects (preferred)
- Experience with React in academic projects or personal projects (preferred)
- Understanding of REST API concepts (preferred)
- Knowledge of TypeScript basics (preferred)
