Role-Interior Site Engineer-Commercial

Location-Richmond Road, Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities

-Head Office tasks: ordering, accounts and GANTTS preparations

-Site Management & Execution visits, inspections and monitoring

-Supervise daily in office activities including masonry, carpentry, electrical, plumbing,

and painting.

-Ensure all work is executed as per approved technical drawings, Bill of Quantities

(BOQ), and specifications.

-Manage project timelines and ensure all milestones are met effectively.

Technical Supervision

-Read and interpret detailed interior and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and

Plumbing) drawings.

-Take accurate site measurements and verify them against design plans before

material ordering and installation.

-Identify and troubleshoot technical issues on-site, escalating major conflicts to the

project manager when necessary.

Quality & Safety Control

-Conduct regular site inspections to ensure material quality and workmanship meet

company standards.

-Enforce strict finishing standards

-Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site to maintain a

hazard-free work environment.

-Track material delivery, consumption, and wastage to prevent cost overruns.

Coordination & Reporting

-Liaise with architects, interior designers, clients, and subcontractors for seamless

project integration.





-Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress logs (outstanding

issues to fix).

-Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure materials are available when

needed.

-Weekly progress reports per projects

-Cost reporting

-GANTT preparation and evaluation of work-progress

Education & Experience

-Degree: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design,

or Architecture.

-MS Projects and Excel exposure and training

Experience: Typically 3–6 years of site management experience specifically in interior fit-out

projects (commercial(Preferred)or residential).

Technical Skills:

Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, familiarity with MS Project, Sketch Up, or Revit is a plus.

Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of joinery techniques, finishing materials

(flooring, claddings, paints), and MEP systems.

Documentation: Ability to prepare GANTTs, BOQs, measurement records, and detailed

progress reports.

Soft Skills

Leadership: Ability to manage and motivate labor teams and subcontractors.

Attention to Detail: An "eye for design" to ensure precision in high-end finishes.

Communication: Effective verbal and written skills to handle client queries and vendor negotiations.
