Title: Technical Business Analyst, Global Platform Operations

Business Unit: Global Platform Operations

Location: Bangalore, India

Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team at Deluxe.

In this role, you will own the requirements lifecycle for Deluxe’s Localization and Fulfillment platforms, including ONE and Sfera. You will work closely with operations, product, and engineering teams to turn business needs into clear, testable requirements — and to challenge and classify those needs before they become build requests.

The ideal candidate is fluent in both operational workflow and system behavior, comfortable documenting a process in BPMN one day and validating a release in UAT the next. If you like getting to the real problem behind the ask, we encourage you to apply.

This role works with stakeholders across India, North America, and Europe and Asia Pacific.

Objectives of this Role

- Elicit, document, and priorities requirements for platform enhancements, client onboarding, and automation initiatives.
- Classify incoming requirements — legal or regulatory, contractual, customary, or preference — so build effort is spent where it is warranted.
- Translate operational workflow into system requirements that support scalable, end-to-end content fulfilment.
- Act as the working-level bridge between Operations and Product/Engineering across the SDLC.
- Validate that delivered functionality meets the documented requirement before it reaches users.
- Maintain the documentation and training assets that allow non-technical users to adopt new functionality.
- Surface process gaps, workarounds, and data quality issues to platform and operations leadership.

Responsibilities

- Run requirements-gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders and document outcomes as user stories with acceptance criteria.

- Design and maintain business process diagrams in BPMN 2.0 to support solutioning and SOP rollout.
- Assess incoming requests for automation suitability and document them to the standard required by the receiving team, whether platform development, RPA, or AI.
- Write and execute UAT plans; log, triage, and track defects to closure.
- Maintain the requirements backlog in JIRA and supporting documentation in Confluence.
- Query and analyze platform data to validate assumptions, size impact, and support root-cause investigation.
- Produce technical documentation, release notes, and training material for non-technical audiences; deliver instructor-led and digital adoption training.
- Support client onboarding and migration to the platforms in line with global process and governance standards.
- Perform product demos and walkthroughs for operations teams and stakeholders.
- Escalate scope, risk, and dependency issues to the responsible TPM or Product owner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, or equivalent in a platform, product, or operations environment.
- Demonstrated experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements for development teams.
- Hands-on competency in Atlassian JIRA: issue types and custom fields, workflow transitions, ticket hygiene and lifecycle management, JQL queries, filters and dashboards.
- Competency in Confluence: authoring and maintaining structured documentation, page templates,

and linked JIRA–Confluence artefacts as a living source of truth.
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery (Scrum or Kanban) and iterative requirements refinement.
- Experience with BPMN 2.0 notation and process modelling standards.
- Understanding of process automation approaches, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI/LLM-based agents, with the judgment to distinguish which requests suit deterministic automation, which suit an AI agent, and which should not be automated at all.
- Ability to read and interpret structured data (SQL, XML, JSON), with a working understanding of how systems exchange data via APIs.
- Experience planning and executing user acceptance testing.
- Experience developing documentation and delivering training to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to explain complex technical issues in plain language and influence outcomes without formal authority.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests in a quick-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

- Entertainment industry experience across localization, subtitling, dubbing, or post-production workflows.
- Familiarity with localization file formats (EBU STL, DFXP, TTML, SCC, IMSC, PAC, XML) and commercial localization tooling.
- Knowledge of Media Asset Management (MAM), IMF, and digital delivery for broadcast and OTT.
- Hands-on experience documenting requirements for RPA developers, including process decomposition, exception handling, and input/output specification.
- Practical exposure to AI/LLM tooling — prompt design, output evaluation, and awareness of hallucination risk, data sensitivity, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Relevant certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or CSPO.
- Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
