About the Role

We are looking for a senior, hands-on specialist with proven experience implementing and managing RudderStack (Customer Data Platform) to help set up, configure, and optimize our customer data pipeline infrastructure. This is a part-time engagement suited for an experienced consultant or qualified looking for flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end implementation of RudderStack across web, mobile, and server-side sources
- Configure and manage source/destination connections (e.g., GA4, Meta Ads, Salesforce, Segment-like warehouses, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift)
- Set up event tracking plans, schema governance, and data validation rules
- Implement identity resolution and user identity stitching across platforms
- Configure and optimize Reverse ETL / warehouse-native pipelines
- Troubleshoot data flow issues, ensure data accuracy, and minimize latency
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and analytics teams to define tracking requirements
- Document implementation architecture, data flow diagrams, and best practices
- Advise on data privacy/compliance considerations (GDPR, CCPA) within pipeline design





Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, MarTech, or CDP implementation
- Proven, hands-on experience implementing RudderStack specifically (not just similar tools)
- Strong understanding of event-based tracking, JSON schemas, and API integrations
- Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar)
- Familiarity with JavaScript/Node.js SDKs, server-side tracking, and webhooks
- Understanding of identity resolution, customer data modeling, and ETL/Reverse ETL concepts
- Prior experience working with marketing/analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to work with distributed/part-time schedules

Nice to Have

- RudderStack certification or direct vendor-side experience
- Experience with CDPs beyond RudderStack (Segment, mParticle, Hightouch)
- SQL proficiency for data validation and troubleshooting
