Data Modeler

Experience: 15–18 Years

Location: Mumbai

Shift: General/Morning Shift (5 days a week)

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Implement and manage Teradata Financial Services Logical Data Model (FSLDM), ensuring adherence to industry best practices and organizational standards.
- Work extensively with Teradata database technologies, including SQL development, utilities, and performance tuning.
- Apply strong data modelling principles using industry-standard tools such as erwin Data Modeler, ER/Studio, or equivalent.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, metadata, mappings, and data governance standards.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and optimization using advanced SQL techniques.
- Support enterprise data warehousing initiatives, including Medallion Architecture and modern enterprise data platforms.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality, metadata, and data modelling issues.




- Contribute to enterprise metadata management and data governance initiatives.
- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance on data modelling best practices where required.

Required Skills

- 15–18 years of hands-on experience in data modelling, metadata management, and related modelling tools.
- Robust expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
- Proficiency in data modelling tools such as erwin Data Modeler, ER/Studio, or similar.
- Extensive experience with Teradata, including SQL development, utilities, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of metadata management and data governance practices.
- Experience in enterprise data warehousing and Medallion Architecture.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of the insurance domain, including insurance data models and business processes.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise data platforms and governance frameworks.
