As an AI Infrastructure Architect, a typical day involves designing and constructing tailored Artificial Intelligence infrastructure and hardware solutions that meet specific organizational needs. This role requires continuous evaluation and enhancement of the performance, power efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability of the computational systems supporting AI workloads. The professional actively advises on emerging AI infrastructure technologies, assesses various vendors, and oversees the seamless integration of full-stack solutions to ensure robust and future-ready AI environments. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to align infrastructure capabilities with strategic objectives is a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of AI infrastructure technologies and vendors to ensure optimal alignment with project goals.
- Drive the integration of AI hardware and software stacks, ensuring seamless interoperability and performance optimization.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and skill development.
Qualified & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Applications Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of designing scalable and efficient AI infrastructure systems.
- Experience in optimizing computational stacks for power consumption and cost efficiency.
- Ability to evaluate and integrate diverse hardware and software components within AI environments.
- Familiarity with vendor assessment processes and technology selection criteria.
- Skilled in collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive AI infrastructure solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Applications Architecture.
