1: Job Purpose Statement (Summarize in one/two statements why this job exists, and the contribution makes to the overall business of the company).
The role is to support the reporting function of ATC Tires AP Private Limited (ATC AP) which has an annual turnover of more than Rs. 1,500 Crores. ATC AP's operations are spread across 2 manufacturing facilities including an upcoming facility producing OHT, PCR and OTR tires, maintaining books in dual currency to ensure reporting and compliance for group reporting and local reporting, handling complex accounting areas like derivative accounting, revenue recognition, lease accounting, government grant, etc. The purpose of the role is to support the Manager in providing critical insights on the performance of ATC AP to the finance leadership team, manage the financial reporting processes, maintain strong relationships with various auditors and, identify and lead identify process transformation initiatives.

- Preparation of monthly and quarterly group reporting pack in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), perform month end closing activities, variance analysis and communication of key insights on financial performance.
- Preparation of financial statements (Income statement, Balance sheet and Cash flow statement) in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) on a quarterly and annual basis
- Ensure end to end compliance of all lease arrangements under IFRS 16
- Support to facilitate smooth and timely completion of internal audit, group audit and statutory audit.
- Ensure compliance and completion of documentation with J-SOX and Internal Control over financial reporting.
- Support in-depth review of balance sheet analysis and identifying key areas of issues and closely work with various stakeholders for resolution
- Support in data preparation for tax audits and other regulatory audits.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates (including Ind AS and Companies Act), and their impact on information requirements from business teams as well as tax & statutory compliance requirements

- Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (Income statement, Balance sheet and Cash flow statement) in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
