We are looking for an experienced SAP BPS (Business Process Scheduling) Consultant to support and maintain the SAP S/4HANA Business Process Scheduling (BPS) solution as part of an Application Management Services (AMS) engagement. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in SAP BPS, Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP) and logistics execution processes, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. The consultant will be responsible for incident resolution, production support, change requests, configuration enhancements, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of business scheduling processes integrated with SAP logistics modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP Business Process Scheduling (BPS) solution.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to BPS scheduling, ATP, sales, delivery, and logistics execution.

• Support SAP Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP) scheduling processes and related configurations.

• Monitor and maintain Business Process Scheduling configurations, scheduling schemas, calendars, duration, and activity sequencing.

• Perform impact analysis and implement change requests and enhancements within agreed SLAs.

• Configure and maintain backward and forward scheduling processes.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and recommend optimal scheduling solutions.

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues and recommend preventive measures.

• Coordinate with cross-functional SAP teams including SD, MM, TM, EWM, Basis, and ABAP for issue resolution.

• Participate in system testing, regression testing, transport management, and deployment activities.

• Create and maintain functional documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures.

• Support periodic releases, patches, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, incident management, problem management,



and change management.

• Should have exposure working in Integration both in CPI and APIM

• Positive understanding building of RICEP, coordination with development team and have worked with FIORI applications

Required Skills Functional Expertise

• 5–6 years of SAP functional experience with strong exposure to SAP Logistics.

• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Process Scheduling (BPS).

• Strong knowledge of SAP Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP).

• Experience working with: Sales Order Processing Outbound Deliveries Stock Transport Orders (STO) – Inter-company and Intro-company Transportation processes Material Availability

• Understanding of scheduling schemas, scheduling activities, date types, and scheduling attributes.

• Experience configuring:o Backward Scheduling Forward Scheduling Business calendars Time zones Activity duration Routing
